Guest seanca1000 Report post Posted 04/11/2008 09:08 PM I am looking to setup a predictive dialer (or auto dialer) that can dial out on 4 or 8 lines. When an answering machine answers the call I would like to have the system leave a message. When a live person answers I would like it to transfer the caller to an available agent via Ethernet to the agents headset, that will be connected to the agents computer via a USB connection. Is this something that VoiceGuide can be setup to do? I have a Dialogic D/120JCT and Plantronics H351N Headsets with USB adapters. Please advise. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 04/11/2008 11:04 PM To be able to transfer calls using VoIP to the Agent's VoIP softphone you will need to install VoiceGuide v7 in VoIP mode (using Dialogic HMP drivers) The D/120JCT card cannot be used under HMP. You will need to VoIP<->Analog media gateway and connect to the external analog lines through the gateway. The D/120JCT card would not be used at all. It is cheaper to just get an analog PBX use the analog PBX to transfer calls to agents. Connect the external phone lines to the PBX and then connect the Dialogic card to the PBXs extensions. Dialogic card then can transfer calls to the agents when call is connected. Usually the agents would dialed into the system to allow the voice connection to be immediate. Share this post Link to post
Guest seanca1000 Report post Posted 04/12/2008 06:44 PM I would think that there should be a way to transfer the audio without the need for a VoIP transfer or a softphone. More like an instant message with 2 way audio. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 04/12/2008 10:53 PM Right now using VoIP is the only way of doing this. A Softphone can be setup to auto-answer without any special input from user, so from agents point of view it would function like a "instant message" type connection. Share this post Link to post
