Transfer To Mobile

Recommended Posts

I would like to know the correct way/configuration to allow an inbound caller to be transferred to a configured mobile number.

I have a Dialogic D4/PCI-U and running ver 6 build 3377 on the back of a Siemens HiPath 3000 switch.

Thanks, Mike

You may be able to just do a blind hookflash transfer to the outside number. It depends on what your PBX has been setup to do.

How do you perform the transfer to mobile number manually from your telephone handset? That is exactly how VoiceGuide would be able to do the transfer as well.

I am dialing in from an outside line to an extension on the pbx. The VG app answers and then transfers to the programed external number, using the same line (line_1)

The dialed external number (my mobile) answers but NO connection is made.

During the transfer process, MOH is heard on the originating call, until the called party answers.

It appears that the conference facility is not being applied correctly.

The pbx is a Siemens HiPath 3000. Using a standard phone, I use the !*3 to connect the external party once they answer.

I have set the pbx strings accordingly in the PBX command string section.

Hi Support Team,

It appears that the problem I was having was a timing error and a configuration problem on my side.

I change the PBX command string to include a pause and now the confernece transge works.

I had !*3 now change to !,*3

Rgds,

Mike
