andrewfleury Report post Posted 07/08/2008 01:37 PM We're currently running a 4-line VoiceGuide Pro 4.7 We're looking into re-tooling our scripts because they are a bit of a mess and I had read up on the website about subscripts available in the Enterprise Edition. Alot of sections in all 4 lines are the same so we'd like to use a more modular approach in repetitive parts. Are subscripts available in 4.7 or only in 5.0 and up. If it's only available in 5.0 we are looking into upgrading however we would also like to know how VoiceGuide handles upgrading the .vgs script files from 4.7 to 5.0. Is it an easy process, or are there any known issues. Besides subscripts are there any other new features in 5.0? Due to hardware requirements we couldn't go with version 6 or 7. We are on Windows 2000 on a P3 800 Thanks Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/08/2008 10:58 PM Are subscripts available in 4.7 or only in 5.0 and up. v4.x did not support subscripts. All versions after that (5.x, v6.x, 7.x) do support subscripts. If it's only available in 5.0 we are looking into upgrading however we would also like to know how VoiceGuide handles upgrading the .vgs script files from 4.7 to 5.0. Is it an easy process, or are there any known issues. The scripts should just work without any changes. Besides subscripts are there any other new features in 5.0? Scripted Voicemail is probably the other main difference. Share this post Link to post
