Voice Guide Closes Intermittently

Recommended Posts

We have been using our voiceguide application for more than 2 years and

we had an issue that after restarting our Server or VoiceGuide Application and if we make some calls, the call drops and the voice guide application closes. And it happens couple of times after rebooting server, or restarting Voiceguide application, then the Voiceguide application fixes automatically.

The error log from windows application is given below.

"Faulting Application VgMulti.exe, version 6.0.0.23.63, faulting module

libisdnr4.dll version 250.0.0.0 fault address 0x00012040"

VoiceGuide Version is: v6.0.2363, Vg Dialer, 24 line license

Server OS: Windows 2003, Standard Edition, SP2

We are using an Intel/Dialogic D/240JCT - T1 with Dialogic System Release SR5.1.1, Version DNA5, Build 30 Service Pack 3.

But recently we installed 2 windows 2003 patch and restarted server. But the voiceguide application closes intermittently. And we receive above error in windows application.

We uninstall windows patch, but still we are having same problem.

Appreciate your help regarding above!

The error shows that the error is occurring in the libisdnr4.dll, which is one of the Dialogic DLLs.

You are using an old SR5.1.1 drivers (now discontinued), so first thing I'd recommend is moving to the current Dialogic SR6.0 drivers.

We'd also recommend upgrading to v7 of VoiceGuide as v6 is not really intended for T1/E1 systems.

Hello

Thanks for your reply. Is that Voiceguide upgrade from v6.0.2363 to v7.0.6 free. Also what's about Dialogic board, is there any fee to upgrade SR5.1.1. to SR6.0.

Appreciate your help!

Upgrade from VoiceGuide v6 to v7 is not free, but you can download the Dialogic SR6.0 drivers for use with VoiceGuide for free using the link on our Downloads page.
