Problems With String

Hi, we’ve been experiencing some difficulties with the VoiceGuide v6.0.3386.

Following the instructions on the VoiceGuide help, it says that you can use the function ‘mid’ on the Evaluate Expression. However, as we try to use it, it does nothing at all. It leaves the expression, and reads it as ‘mid(exp,0,1)’. Also, when I tried to use it on the VBScript, it gives a compilation error.

Could you please post a copy of VoiceGuide's Trace Logs which capture the problem, this will allow us to see what happened.

 

Plesae include both cases of trying to use mid in an Evaluate Expression module and in a VBScript module.

 

Enable logging by setting the log levels to 10 in VG.INI as per below:

[Log]

 

VoiceGuide=10

CallLoader=0

VoicemailManager=0

EmailSender=0

ktTel=10

ktTts=0

Then restart VG and make a test call which demonstrates the problem.

 

Trace files will be created in VG's \log\ subdirectory.

 

Please post the traces and the VoiceGuide script used.

 

When posting traces/scripts please .ZIP them up and post them as attachments.
