Hello

 

I would like to ask why VG ver. 5.2.5049 (with Diva 4BRI) doesn`t run on Win Server 2003. The error which I see in log is:

ERROR 5.2.5049 LineEvCallState_Connected_Error:Automation error

The object invoked has disconnected from its clients

 

VG hangs up automatically after receive call.

 

But on Win XP Pro there is all OK.

This sounds like an issue with the Diva's TAPI drivers. Suggest confirming whether the DIVA TAPI driver are supported under Win2003.

Another thing to try would be to re-install the DIVA TPI drivers.

I have just tried with drivers reinstallation. But it still want to work. I have stupid question: do I need sound card in my server?

Maybe if I had this device this system can work.

Some WAVE drivers out there will not work without a sound card. The error you mention seems more of a TAPI related error rather then a Wave driver one, but it would not hurt to see if adding a sound card changes anything.

I will try with sound card but there is one more problem I didnt say (I forgot). When I was installing VG v5 the info screen was shown: this is not windows logo tested software, software would be installed - something like that, I dont remember the exact text. But VG work after this screen. Scenario without play sound module is woorking.

Hi.

 

The problem is resolve. I add to this computer USB Sound Card (very cheap and simple), reinstall Dialogic drivers, reboot system and VG runs without any problems.
