diabco Report post Posted 09/19/2008 02:42 PM We are using VG7 with a 4 line Dialogic D4PCIus card. We are watching line status and observed that only line 1 is making calls. The other three lines all say 'Waiting for a call' but never dial. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/19/2008 09:17 PM Could you please post a copy of VoiceGuide's vgEngine Trace Logs which captures the problem, this will allow us to see what happened. Trace files are created in VG's \log\ subdirectory. When posting traces/scripts please .ZIP them up and post them as attachments. Share this post Link to post

SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/26/2008 09:56 PM From the traces we can see that call attampts are made on lines 2, 3 and 4, but the initial outgoong calls on those lines are not answered. We'd recommend re-checking the phone lines plugged into ports 2, 3 and 4 to confirm that outboind calls can be made on these lines. Also traces show that you are using an old version of VoiceGuide v7. Please update to the latest version of VoiceGuide v7 available from our WWW and post traces from that version if you still get any problems. Share this post Link to post
diabco Report post Posted 10/01/2008 06:12 PM We upgraded to the latest version 7.07, and now cannot load phone numbers. We are using the outbound call loader, with phone numbers in the text box. When we use the 'Load phone numbers' button, nothing happens and the button gets grayed out. Today's log files are attached. vglogs.zip Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 10/02/2008 05:12 AM We'll have a look at the installer and see why it is havoing some issues installing the databse module. In the meantime the quickest way to fix this should be for you to just download and install the VistaDB distribution that VoiceGuide uses - which can be obtained from here: [old link removed]Please stop VoiceGuide and exit all VoiceGudie programs then run the install above and then best to do this:1. Ensure the VoiceGuide service is stopped and no other VoiceGuide related programs are running (apart from the service monitor tray applet)2. Delete any vgDb.* files in VoiceGuide's \data\ subdirectory3. Just start the Telephone Number Loader (do not start VoiceGuide service), wait 5 seconds.4. Exit the Telephone Number Loader.5. Start the Telephone Number Loader again and try to load one telephone number.6. Exit the Telephone Number Loader. If you still have problems please post the full trace (the whole files - not just a trace excerpt) capturing the two Telephone Number Loader starts. SupportTeam Report post Posted 10/03/2008 05:36 AM OK, thanks for lettig us know. We have now also fixed the v7.0.7 installer so that the default database provider used by VoiceGuide is correctly set up, so we will now delete the vdb.exe from our site. Share this post Link to post
