Vg Scriptdesigner Stopped Working

After a couple of network and power outages have happened, the VoiceGuide Script Designer will not start. The Event Manager shows the following error:

 

Faulting application VgGsd.exe version 6.0.0.3003, faulting module kernel32.dll, version 5.2.3790.4062, fault address, 0x0000bee7.

 

Is there debug that can be turned on to see what is happening. The VG designer may have been open when the power outage occured. I have rebooted the server, but still cannot start the application. I am also checking for any Windows updates to the server.

 

Any suggestions?

The easiest thing to try first is to just re-install VoiceGuide.

 

Note that as the actual error is in Windows' kernel32.dll module you may have problems with Windows itself or with the hardware (memory etc).
