Voice Recording

Hi,

 

I would like to know if it is possible to setup a voice recording application using VG.

What I would like to to is when having externat calls, be able to record them.

How can I hande that ? Can I use dialogic boards to do that ?

It is possible to record calls using VoiceGuide v7. The calls would be simply 'routed through' VoiceGuide and VoiceGuide can then record them. You will need to use a Dialogic card that can do "Dial and Conference" transfers.

This means that I have to use two ports from the dialogic card for each call?

 

Examaple, If have 2 external lines and if I want to record all communcaition :

 

Incomming calls:

--> Do I have to plug these 2 lignes on my dialogic board? and then make a blind transfert on the called number ?

 

--> Outgoing call:

When I make a call should I do it on the dialogic port then make a blind transfer to the external number ?

 

What is the schemea that you advise for such configuration ?

Yes. A Blind "Dial and Conference" transfer.

Call the Dialoigc card, have the script do a Blind "Dial and Conference" transfer to ans external line. You will then hear the eternal dial signal from our PBX/Telco. Then dial the number as usual.
