dbovard Report post Posted 11/20/2008 08:03 PM I'm aquired a problem all of the sudden wurs on this nowhere the Vgemailsender.exe disconnect half way through sending. I've spent hours and now. Tried different mail servers etc.. I have no problem using Outlook or Thunderbird etc.. to send or receive. Anyway below is a trace 10 log. You'll notice it starts to send, then gives the "NOTE smtp explicit .Connect removed" and never sends the complete mail. Keep in mind too this all worked fine for months. Last thing I did was put Spybot Search and Destroy and the Lavasoft Ad-Aware to cleanup before an image. Anyway I'm really out of ideas. You guys gave me a new Vgemailsender.exe for MailEnable at one point so I've been trying different builds of it. Virus scanned. Reinstalled Service pack 2 on 2003. Checking port usage and I only see my mail server on port 25/110. Server has worked fine for 2 years. I'm really at a loss here why. Help please!! SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/20/2008 08:47 PM It's hard to say why the email is not getting sent. First thing to try would be to remove the recently installed software on the machine and see if that takes the system back to the working state as before. Share this post Link to post
dbovard Report post Posted 11/20/2008 10:47 PM I actually fixed this. I was using "localhost" for my mailserver name which has worked forever. Works fine for outlook and Thunderbird still, but not for the vgemailsender.exe. Use the real email server name. Share this post Link to post
