energetik Report post Posted 12/13/2008 11:13 AM Does anyone have a time and temperature script? There was an older one posted on here, but that website doesn't provide the information on here. Is there one that perhaps works with weatherunderground.com? Thanks! Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/13/2008 11:35 AM Do you require a script which retrieves data from a website and plays the information retrieved from there over the phone? Share this post Link to post
energetik Report post Posted 12/13/2008 11:20 PM I'm assuming that would be the easiest way. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/14/2008 12:53 AM The "Internet Portal" demo script shows one approach that can be used to retrieve data from web pages. What is required by your system may be different as it depend on what format the data is made available in. Do any of the data sources you want to use provide the data through a 'Web Service'? energetik Report post Posted 12/14/2008 01:16 AM That script looks pretty cumbersome. Is there an easier way to do it? I can pull system time very easily, but I am looking for an easier way to pull the temperature and forecast off of a website using US zipcode.. Share this post Link to post
