Speak Number Modules Gives Noise ?

Hello,

 

I have Dialogic/4 (old card) and I am using VG6 demo . Play module can't play wav files find the thread (http://voiceguide.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6054) .So that I used VOX file instead which wored fine.

Now I tried to use Speak number module , but I listen to a noise for 15 seconds instead of speaking the number , and go for hung up .

Do I need to replace these wave files ../VoiceGuide/Sounds by VOX files instead ?

The Dialog/4 is an old card that is requires different sound files. Go to our Download page and click on link "US Female sound files for Dialogic D/21D,D/41D,Dialog/4,VFX/40 (MuLaw 8kHz 8bit Mono) (2.83 MB)" and replace your system (and sample script) sound files with those ones. Any .WAV sound file you record yourself should be in ULaw 8kHz, 8bit.

 

Using .VOX files may also work - I think VGv6 will look for .VOX if .WAV is not present.

Hello,

It looks that Dialogic/4 does not support wav files. It did not speak the numbers .

I changed the format of one of wav numvers to vox format , and it worked fine.
