Guest amr Report post Posted 09/20/2003 04:56 AM Hi, I'm testing VoiceGuide with a Dialogic D/41D card connected to Telstra PSTN. I notice that often the first DTMF sent during message playback is not recognised and the file keeps playing - you have to press the key again for it to go to the correct module. It doesn't seem to have a problem with the first keypress if you wait until the file has finished playing, or if you hold the key down for more than a second during playback. Is there some setting in either VoiceGuide or Dialogic that specifies the minimum DTMF tone length that is recognised? Thanks. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/20/2003 06:17 AM Dialogic cards are usually very good with DTMF detection... Have you consulted the Release Notes for that card to see what "Parameter File" to should be set for that card for use in Australia? This setting may affect the tone detection reliability so it's important to set it to the correct value. Please also ensure that in the Dialogic TSP configuration the "DTMF anti-talkoff" parameter is set to 0 - that parameter sets the min DTMF tone length required during play/record - there is no need to set it above 0 for most apps. Dialoigc TSP is accessed through: Control Panel -> Phone and Modem -> Adanced Tab Share this post Link to post
