Creating A Large Number Of Mailboxes

Hi

 

For my application I need to create around 300 plus mailboxes.

 

At present I am cut/pasting the mailbox names from excel(customer listing), is there an easier way to do this?.

 

Also can I somehow backup the mailboxes/vg should I need to reinstall the app

The voicemail mailbox data is stored in file VmBoxList.xml in VoiceGuide's \data\ subdirectory. It's in XML format. You can edit that file directly - but ensure that the VoiceGuide Voicemail Manager is not open at the time - as it writes out a new version of VmBoxList.xml when it exits and then all your changes will be lost.

 

To backp the configuration just save a copy of VmBoxList.xml
