ktruk Report post Posted 05/29/2009 01:38 PM Hi, I am currently using v5 TAPI VG (and I am very happy with it as-is) in Windows Server 32 OS. I wonder, can it be migrated as-is to windows 64bit? ie: does 64bit support TAPI and the VG application? I know that the TSP will need to work in 64bit too - As I am using comISDN TSP, I will ask them separately. (looking for more performance on the server) If 64bit is not support for v5, what about v6/v7 VG? Thanks - Tim. Share this post Link to post

ktruk Report post Posted 05/29/2009 02:13 PM Ok, thanks for the prompt reply. I didn't expect 64bit support but had my fingers crossed! For v7, will 'vista 64bit' work on windows server 64bit (2003/2008) too? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 05/29/2009 09:44 PM For v7, will 'vista 64bit' work on windows server 64bit (2003/2008) too? Yes. But it's the Dialogic drivers that dictate OS selection. Dialogic drivers support Win2008 (both 32 and 64 bit), but not sure if Dialogic drivers support Win2003 64 bit. Here are a couple of extracts from the current Dialogic's drivers Release Update. Dialogic Springware Boards are the only boards supported when using 64-bit versions of the Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 operating systems. The above means that the "DMV" series cards are not supported under 64 bit at this stage. Also: Note: Dialogic drivers do not support Physical Address Extensions (PAE). Users using Windows 2003 with Service Pack 1 will have to disable PAE (which is enabled by default in Service Pack 1). Note: Dialogic drivers do not support more than 4 GB of RAM.
