Hmp 3.0 Questions

Hi

 

I have been looking at using HMP 3.0 instead of dialogic card for Australia and I would like you help on some questions please!

 

If I install the hmp do I need any special internet link at our office (ie can we use a stand adsl connect or do we need better internet connection)?

 

Can we use hmp to make outbound voice and fax calls?

 

Is there is any white papers or case studies that explain how this technology works?

Strongly suggest that you do not try using VoIP if you intend to do faxing tx/rx.

 

Fax over VoIP is notoriously unreliable.

 

Furthermore, to roll out a multi-line VoIP service you will more then likely need good working knowledge of VoIP protocols and protocol level debugging.

 

And for multi-line services you really would need a better class connection then your average ADSL connection in order to get quality as good as dedicated telephone lines.

 

VoIP works best if used over the local LAN only.
