Fax Line Doesn't Always Answer

now that i finally have my d/41jct-ls answering faxes, there is a new issue.

 

the same line, being called from the same place, sometimes answers, and sometimes does not. i was watching the status monitor and it went past the 2 rings when it should have answered and kept ringing until the sender gave up.

 

in the attached logs, this should be the last call that you see.

Call was not answered as this system does not appear to be licensed, and hence stops answering calls after 1 hour.

 

At the bottom of the Line Status Monitor this note would have been displayed:

 

EVALUATION (needs restarting every hour)

 

In vgEngine trace we can see:

125504.375 6 reg , lines: 30 id: | FW013390 | HK045756

...

150549.906 6 ****************************************************

150549.906 6 16 AnswerTheCall: Evaluation time expired

150549.906 6 ****************************************************

 

If you have tried applying the license then please email your userinfo.lic file (from VG's main directory) to sales@voiceguide.com along with a link to this thread.

sorry, i discovered this myself almost immediately after posting. but then i had to leave before the moderator approved the post.

 

i will test it again, but i am sure that applying the license was the issue.
