Dialogic Model For Hp Ml 150 G5 Server With Pci Express Bus

Please recommend a suitable Dialogic card model for the above server.

 

Option 1) E1 Card

Option 2) 4 Port Card

 

Any other recommendations/ advice would be greaty appreciated.

For a single E1 trunk you should use a D/300JCT card.

If you wish to do fax or speech recognition on the E1 as well then you should get a D/600JCT-1E1 card.

If you expect to use more then one E1 later on then you maybe should just get a DMV600B or a DMV1200B card.

 

For a 4 port card you should use D/41JCT card.

The JCT card will then be able to co-exist on same server if you add any E1 cards later.

 

All of the above cards are full length cards and come in PCIU and PCIe (PCI-Express) formats.

 

If you buy the lower end D/4PCI series card then you will need to remove it when installing an E1 card. Also the D/4PCI card cannot cross-connect two calls on the card so you cannot do "Dial and Conference" type transfers.

 

D/4PCI series cards are half length. They come in PCIU and PCIe (PCI-Express) formats.
