Proper Use Of Dialing Rules Section

Recommended Posts

Just installed version 7.0.9 (licensed) and noticed a new Dialing Rules section in the Outbound Call Loader. Can you explain the proper use of this. We are in the USA and would imagine this would be of some use to us.

When I tried to enter information into the three bottom fields and clicking on "Add/Modify" nothing happens. I imagine that this information I just entered should go in the "Dialing Rules" field just above, but it does not.

Please help.

I also noticed the status monitor has a new section titled ACD Agents. Can you please describe this as well?

Please try the attahed Outbound Call Loader app. Not sure if it will work on your system as I think that it needs to be matched to the right signed versions of other supporting files (ktlibOutDialDb.dll and vgServicesInterfaces.dll). We will release new verions of VoiceGuide in about a week and you can then download the whole new version which will include the new Outbound Call Loader app.

Tha ACD agents section is for ACD queuing on both inbound and outbound calls. VoiceGuide has support for ACD queueing calls and sending them to registered agents as they indicate thay are available to receive calls. So VoiceGuide will put the call on hold and play messages to the person on hold (position in queue, time to answer, register a callback etc) and transfer call directly to agent when it's the cals turn and an agent becomes available.

It can be used for both inbound ACD queues and on outbound calls agents can become part of preview or predictive etc dialer setups.

A "VoiceGuide Agent" app is installed on each agents PC and that vgAgent app pops up all call details on the agents PC as the callis connected or previewed.

Let us know if you want more information on this.

Sounds like some other DLLs are needed by this program that are not included in current v7 distribution that you have installed. When the next version is released it will have the right DLL set in the new install.
