robhorvath Report post Posted 07/24/2009 08:03 PM We are looking to use VoiceGuide as an outbound IVR application platform. Currently we use Televantage as our soft PBX platform, which acts as an SIP server for our existing internal extensions. What we would like to do is provision 3 or 4 SIP extensions to VoiceGuide to be used for outbound calling. Can this be done with VoiceGuide + Dialer + HMP? Or will we need to provision separate outbound SIP trunks from our provider and bypass the Televantage machine? Thanks! Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/24/2009 09:59 PM You should be able to dial out through Televantage. This section covers how to configure VoiceGuide to register itself as with the SIP server: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/source/ht...ip_register.htm When placing outbound calls from VoiceGuide you may need to specify them using the IP address of the SIP server as well, like this: 4445551234@10.1.1.77 Where 4445551234 is replaced by the number you wish to dial and 10.1.1.77 is the IP address of the SIP server. If you provision separate SIP trunks then you would just register VoiceGuide directly with the provider's SIP server, instead of Televantage. Please let us know if you have any questions.
