jewillis Report post Posted 10/07/2009 04:08 AM In the doc for RunFile the below is stated If the 'wait' option is selected then VoiceGuide will pause until the program completes and afterwards VoiceGuide will look for the result file which can be optionally created by the called program. The file can be created in the script's directory, or in the directory where the program was ran from, or in VoiceGuide's \data\ subdirectory.. The file can either be called VGRUNRESULT_LineNumber.TXT or SHLRESLT.TXT I wrote the VGRUNRESULTxxx.txt file to the scripts directory and to the data directory and VG could not find them (see attached log file at 225027.312 and 225301.812 ) When i wrote the VGRUNRESULTxxx.txt to the directory where the program was run, it was located and properly processed(see attached log at 225520.562 ) If the documentation in error or is VG in error Jeff 1006_2245_vgEngine.zip Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 10/07/2009 05:02 AM Looks like current v7 is not checking the \data\ subdirectory, but is checking the main VG directory instead (ie: C:\Progam Files\VoiceGuide\ on most systems). Future v7 releases will also check the \data\ subdirectory. Share this post Link to post
