SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/02/2009 06:45 PM Please post the ktTel trace capturing system startup. Did you apply the 2 line HMP evaluation license? Have you tested HMP operation using the IPMediaServer test app to verify HMP installed correctly and answers incoming calls? Share this post Link to post
mehdi_h Report post Posted 11/02/2009 07:47 PM Hi, Here is the KtTel file. In fact I have downloaded the trial licence of HMP (using the MAC adress) I have tested the HMP usinf IP media Server but the file that I was hearing was very jerky. I could here a menu file ("press one ..."). That was before installing VG. 1101_ktTel.txt Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/02/2009 09:30 PM Thrace shows that Dialogic 'Global Call' cannot be started on this system, which is why you are seeing errors opening lines. Did you enable all the options when doing the HMP install? 120616.562 2624 ERROR gc_start ... 120616.937 2624 ERROR gc_OpenEx I have tested the HMP using IP media Server but the file that I was hearing was very jerky. You will need to fix this first. Dialogic recommends to disable the APIC timer on Windows to resolve this. See Dialogic HMP Release notes for information on APIC timer. What hardware (CPU & Motherboard) are you using? You could try disabling power management and see if this improves anything. Share this post Link to post
mehdi_h Report post Posted 11/03/2009 04:12 PM I would like to confirm that I'm doing things properly talking about HMP installation. 1. I have only downloaded the SW : # Service Update 256 for HMP Release 3.0 for Windows (66,949 KB) on dialogic download page that you have specified? Is there something else to be installed? 2. When installing that SW I do not see any options that shows 'Global Call'. I have only : - developpement package DSK - Core runtime package - Circui Connectivity Runtime package - Demos - SNMP compenent Manager it that normal? Thkx Mh Share this post Link to post

No that is all that is needed. 2. When installing that SW I do not see any options that shows 'Global Call'. The 'Core runtime package' is what is needed as minimum (it contains 'Global Call'). Share this post Link to post
