Guest Buzby Report post Posted 11/04/2009 12:58 PM Hi there, We're an existing VoiceGuide user, have a couple of servers running VG6 each with a Dialogic D/600JCT card and ISDN-30 circuits (Dialogic DCM SR 5.1.1). Now we're looking at the VOIP route. Apart from Dialogic HMP and VG7, are there any practical considerations of this route? Am I right that we'd also need a provider who can supply lines via SIP and a leased line with sufficient bandwidth? Do you know if there are there costs associated with using the Dialogic HMP software? Best wishes, Tyron Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/04/2009 08:43 PM Am I right that we'd also need a provider who can supply lines via SIP and a leased line with sufficient bandwidth? Yes. Also you should ensure that connection path to them is not likely to result in many dropped packets or significant packet delays. For 30+ channels that usually means co-locating your system in the same data center as your VoIP provider. Most ADSL connections do not have the bandwidth required (on the uplink leg). Dialogic HMP has a licensing cost associated with it. Please contact sales@VoiceGuide.com for pricing on HMP licenses. Share this post Link to post
