Guest johnkanis Report post Posted 11/04/2009 04:49 PM I am running VoiceGuide version 5 under Windows 2000. I recently bought it and in principle it works well. I have defined 3 voice-mail boxes. However, the quality of the recorded voice-mail messages from callers is so poor that it's really unusable. My questions are: Is it a VoiceGuide module that records the voice-mail messages and if yes is there a way to improve the quality of the voice-mail wav files that are recorded? Is it possible to specify another application (eg window's soundrecorder) to do the recording of the voice-mail messages? JohnKanis Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/04/2009 08:02 PM Most Voice modems have poor playback and recording. We have this warning in the Voice Modem section of the Recommended Hardware section of our web site. You can try a different voice modem, and eventually you may be able to find a current model modem that works, but we recommend just getting a Dialogic card. Share this post Link to post
