EAGLEPRO Report post Posted 12/01/2009 06:10 PM I was under the impression that a dialogic card would have better sound quality as noted on your site. I am not impressed with the result. I am using text to speech AT&T crystal, as recommended by your company on your download page. The problem that I see is that AT&T Crystal recommended format is PCM 16.000 KHz and 16 bit mono, but Voiceguide ver 7 will not play the file at that format. Is their a way to allow VG to play this format, or do I need to use another voice that works better under the VG 7 formats. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/02/2009 12:13 AM I was under the impression that a dialogic card would have better sound quality as noted on your site. Compared to voice modems it is much better. The sound file formats supported by VoiceGuide v7 are listed here: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/source/html/soundfiles.htm 16kHz is not a supported format. Here is a relevant post that discusses telephone line bandwidth and 8kHz and 16kHs TTS engines: http://voiceguide.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6411 Share this post Link to post
