Say Full Date

I am new to VoiceGuide and am trying to set up an information retrieval phone site.

 

Currently using Version 6.0.3010 of Designer. The software has not been registered yet as I am using a test workstation.

 

After reading the documentation and testing with different formats, reviewing the \system\vbs\lib_num2wav.vbs [as instructed on the forum], it seems that the VoiceGuide Software will not or cannot say the year when using the default settings in the Designer even though the 'vbs' file says it will. Is this correct or is it only a non documented limitation of the software or a limitation of the evaluation version?

v6 Say number does have option to say the year as well if that is the data format selected.

 

If you are having trouble making that happen then please post the 'vgm' traces from v6 and we can then see what is happening on that system.

Enable logging by setting the log levels to 10 in VG.INI as per below:

 

[Log]

VoiceGuide=10

NumberLoader=0

VoicemailManager=0

EmailSender=0

TapiWrapOcx=0

SapiWrapOcx=0

 

Then make a test call which demonstrates the problem.

 

Debug Trace files will be created in VG's \log\ subdirectory.

 

Please post the traces and the VoiceGuide script used.

 

When posting traces/scripts please .ZIP them up and post them as attachments.
