Dear support

 

 

I have purchased Arabic-TTS from Sakhr company & it support the SAPI interface.

 

But i am facing a very serious problem:

When i try to speak the arabic text its taking it as "?"

 

I have VG7 and arabic is readable by MS speach toolkit !

Could you please post a copy of VoiceGuide's Debug Printout which captures the call, this will allow us to see what happened.

 

Debug Trace files are created in VG's \log\ subdirectory.

 

Please post the traces and the VoiceGuide script used.

 

When posting traces/scripts please .ZIP them up and post them as attachments.

You mentioned that voiceguide does not support unicode! does my VG7 having same problem?

Attached the calls LOG file,

 

Please note:

When i try to run TTS by selecting text file its wokring fine

But when i try to type ARABIC charecters directly in the window > then its not working (replacing each charecter with "?")

V7 will read in unicode chars from text file and pass the unicode onto the TTS engine.

 

The Script Designer at this stage does not support Unicode, that is why you need to place any unicode TTS input in a text file an tell VG to read this data from a text file.
