SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/19/2010 08:00 PM 1. What is the maximum number of analog lines possible on one VG machine? This is only limited by the number of analog cards that can be placed in one system. eg: five DMV160 cards would handle 80 lines. 2. Can a script file, based on a keypad response, do a ‘blind transfer’ to another line, releasing the incoming phone line? For instance, we want it to transfer to a customer service number if they key ‘2’, and open the incoming line for another outgoing dialer call. Yes. This is called a hookflash transfer. Please see: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/source/html/modxfer.htm 3. When VG detects an answering machine, how does the script file know when the AM message has completed and has played the ‘beep’? Or is there a designated wait time? VoiceGuide will automatically wait till the answering machine message completes before starting the 'Answering Machine' script. Please let us know if you have further questions.
