Hi,

 

We are planning to expand our service (IVR + FAX) using E1 truncks.

We verified Dialogic suggestions in Voiceguide site. we verified in Dialogic site the two boards below that has fax services:

 

-D/300JCT

-D/600JCT

 

Consider this kind of solution is uncommon here (uses ivr + fax with E1 truncks), would you please help us with tips/experience ?

An E1 board will enable 30/60 channels for fax services ? (some Dialogic boards has 12 channels but enables only 4 port for fax).

This board is indicated for this service ? is there any recommendations ?

JCT boards will only enable a portion of their channels for FAX. From memory it is something like 6 or 8 channels on a D/300JCT (please consult Dialogic documentation for latest SR release).

 

Look at using DMV series cards. With DMV series cards you will be able to use all channels for Fax at same time.

(DMV cards are: DMV300B, DMV600B, DMV1200B)
