rFriend Report post Posted 06/29/2010 07:38 PM I just started working with a company who has Voice Guide version 6.0.3107 Enterprise Edition with 24 lines. They are using a Dialogic 240JCT-T1 card. The sound file is fairly good, but far from a human sounding voice. What is the maximum sampling rates, etc that can be used? Will this be different with Voice Guide version 7.x? SupportTeam Report post Posted 06/29/2010 08:32 PM VoiceGuide v7 can deliver clearer playback, as it can use ULaw (& ALaw) encoded sound files. ULaw is the encoding used on T1 lines, so the sound transmitted on the T1 will be exactly the same as what is in the sound file. Please note that to achieve clear recordings a studio should be engaged in producing them. Please use the Credit Card Payment demo script in v7 to hear how clearly recorded sound files sound like.
