Hello,

I need to order the internet bandwidth for my new system. what is the minimum bandwidth HMP require for up and down load stream to have good sound quality?

You not only need bandwidth, but also need that IP packets do not get delayed.

 

You will need to discuss this with your IP connectivity supplier and the VoIP service provider.

 

If running more then about 10 channels you will basically need a "TDM over IP" or a "Guaranteed Bandwidth VPN" type setup.

 

G.711 requires 64Kbits, and G.729 requires less (depending on what equipment you are connecting to).

 

As a rule of thumb allow about 100Kbits per G.711 channel.

Placing additional equipment/switches in the VoIP travel path only adds to packet delay etc. problems.

 

Sounds like you do not understand VoIP networking.

 

You should first have a good grasp of the underlying IP communications before you undertake rolling out a larger scale VoIP system that is not local to your network. Otherwise you may end up with a system which does not work.
