Guest sss1019 Report post Posted 09/17/2010 06:45 PM Running V7. Sending an email from my script and that works great. Using smtp server. When I receive the email in my yahoo account it says who its from correctly but it also will show <VoiceGuide@VoiceGuideIvr.com>. Where is it getting the VoiceGuide@VoiceGuideIvr.com from? I've looked through the config files but can't find it. I don't want it to say that. Thanks for your help. here's what yahoo looks like. SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/17/2010 09:40 PM Could you please post a copy of VoiceGuide's vgEngine trace log which captures the system startup and the call during which the email is sent, this will allow us to see what is going happening. Debug Trace files are created in VG's \log\ subdirectory. When posting traces/scripts please .ZIP them up and post them as attachments. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/23/2010 11:48 AM Most likely in the Send Email module the "Return Email" field was left blank, and only the "Senders Name" entry was specified. If the "Return Email" is left blank then the default VoiceGuide email address will be used as the return address in the sent out email messages. Share this post Link to post
