How IVR transfers the call to the ACD Agent. The call needs to be placed in an ACD queue, and VoiceGuide will then send call to available agent. To place call in queue use the 'Call Transfer' module, and use an expression like this in the 'transfer to' field: acd:somequename call will then be sent to a selected agents who has a skill level in somequenameand is logged in and available. ACD agents use softphone? Where login? Agents use the "VoiceGuide Agent" application/popup to log in and set their status. The calls can arrive on any phone/sofphone. The agents phone number is configurable in the vgAgent.ini file. For calls to arrive on softphone VoiceGuide must be running a VoIP based system, or you need media gateways.
