Developing Without Telephony Card

We're going to be using a Dialogic card, but I want to do my development on a system without one. What would be required to set this up?

Set up VoiceGuide v7 in VoIP mode. That way you can test system by making calls into it using a VoIP phone (or softphone from another computer), by just dialing the IP address of the computer where the VoiceGuide is installed.

I've installed VoiceGuide. Will ANY Voip phone application work, then?

If you have installed HMP and VoiceGuide then you can now place calls into the system.

 

You can use any VoIP phone or softphone to make the call. Eg. SJPhone http://www.sjlabs.com/sjp.html

 

Just dial the IP address of the system on which VoiceGuide/HMP is installed.

 

If using a softphone then the softphone must be installed on a different computer that the one where VoiceGuide/HMP is installed.
