A customer makes a call or send a SMS indicating his ID and a code to get same information (Ex: 1-Debt, 2-Next expiration date, etc) The VoiceGuide must be able to access On-Line to diferents DBMS to validate the ID If the ID is not correct, return a message voice or SMS with the error If the ID is correct, return a message voice or SMS with information save on the DBMS like debt for example. In the possitive case will be important to konw who to contact with them to know about their experience using the software / service. Thank you Eugenio Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 01/07/2011 04:00 AM Retrieving data from databases and acting on it (or reporting that database is not contactable or not responding) is fairly straightforward. VoiceGuide can be used to answer incoming voice calls and accept caller's selections, and play responses to them. Is it possible to define a timeout and a message voice / text for this case ? Yes. Sounds like you haven't downloaded and tried the evaluation version of VoiceGuide. You can use the evaluation version of VoiceGuide to set up and test out your system. You can install it in VoIP mode, which does not require any cards etc to use. If you want to handle a SMSs then you would need to get an SS7 connection or have some other setup that delivers SMS to you (eg. over IP etc). Over what channel do you intend to receive SMSs? We have customers in Argentina (we have thousands of sites world wide). Please contact sales@voiceguide.com and indicate what size system you intend to deploy. Some appropriate referees can then be forwarded to you. Share this post Link to post
