jaytee Report post Posted 02/04/2011 04:05 PM I have an Asterisk server at 192.168.2.20 and Voiceguide 7.2.1 with Dialogic Powermedia HMP 3.0 running on a Windows 2008 server which is at 192.168.2.18 The Windows server has two nics and the other nic is on another subnet 192.168.44.0/24 using 192.168.44.5 When the NIC using 192.168.44.5 is enabled registration to Asterisk fails. When the NIC that is on the 192.168.44.0/24 subnet is disabled registration succeeds and Voiceguide shows registered on Asterisk at 192.168.2.18 however no call attempts are answered and Voiceguide returns 486 "Busy here" when a call to it is attempted. Line Status monitor shows "Waiting for a call" and never changes. I had Voiceguide working fine in a test setup on Windows 7 on a system with one NIC using the HMP eval license but since I've setup Voiceguide on this Windows 2008 I cannot get Voiceguide to register if the other NIC is enabled or to accept calls if it is registered. SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/04/2011 08:13 PM Can you please advise which Service Update version of HMP 3.0 is installed on this system. Are you using 32-bit or 64-bit version of Win2008? What happens when dialing the IP address of the HMP/VoiceGuide server directly? Are you able to get HMPs own sample apps to answer when dialing the IP address of the HMP server directly? (Stop VG for this test and start pone of HMPs own sample apps). Share this post Link to post
jaytee Report post Posted 02/04/2011 09:27 PM I'm using Service Update 296 on a Windows 2008 R2 64 bit system. When I dial the ip address from a softphone I get no answer. I'll have to dig through the docs but most of the apps in the Demo folder error out when trying to launch them. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/05/2011 02:00 AM HMP does not support the 64 bit OSs at this stage. Only 32 bit OSs. jaytee Report post Posted 02/07/2011 02:50 PM Are there any plans in the works for releasing a 64 bit version of HMP? I've tested this on Win 7 32 bit and it works very well and while we can utilize a separate 32 bit system to host Voiceguide 7.2.1 and HMP 3.0 for our client's systems it would be great to have an option to have it running on Win2K8 R2 64 bit OS as that is the preferred platform for our SQL Server 2008 installs. Currently we run Voiceguide with a 4 port dialogic card which runs fine as a 32 bit install on Win2K8 R2 and that works well but being able to eliminate the board and any SIP ATA devices to use an ITSP provider directly to Voiceguide via SIP on a single 64 bit system would be a huge plus for us. Thanks for your response and assistance. John Share this post Link to post
