Guest u4910 Report post Posted 03/01/2011 01:42 AM I had a recording at 3:19 PM local time today via telephone for an outbound call. For some reason most people did not get the call. My call was just a blank pause. When I tried to open the .wav file in Cool Edit, it needed me to tell it the specs for the file upon opening it. It played fine when I picked the right options it did play OK, but had a noise at the very beginning. My other .wav files that get recorded via the phone seem to play OK on outbound calls and can open in Cool Edit with out any prompt for format. Please review the attached .zip file to see if you can tell what happened on this particular recording. BTW, I opened the file in GVIM, I noticed a couple of extra bytes that were different in the header. If you want to have the .wav file, just give me a place to drop it to outside of this public forum or email. Thanks. 0228_0024_vgEngine.zip Share this post Link to post
