thespecializt Report post Posted 06/17/2011 05:08 AM Hi Voiceguide was recently swapped to a new machine and now An error message is displayed when attempting to open the voiceguide executable I have tried entering the license details again but an error message is displayed "Registration not valid for this computer plesae check the registration details" Although I believe the registration details are correct. I reinstalled the device in device manager The device says “Intel Dialogic D41JCT-LS,VFX41JCT-LS,D41JSF or D4PCI-U card” I now see 2 services when I run services.msc I can’t start either service The error message is For Dialogic “Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start For Intel/Dialogic GC DK SS7 “ Review the system event log. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specific error code 20482 When I run Intel Dialogic Configuration Manager I get an error message “Failed to detect boards Error configuring the TDM Bus” In Dialogic Configuration Manager it says No_Devices on_SERVERNAME Any help would be appreciated If you need any more information feel free to contact me. SupportTeam Report post Posted 06/17/2011 07:25 AM You will need to ensure that the Dialogic drivers on this system are correctly installed, and that the system answers calls and plays messages when Dialogic demo applications are ran. Once correct operation of Dialogic card is confirmed using Dialogic demo applications then you can start VoiceGuide software. Share this post Link to post

SupportTeam Report post Posted 06/20/2011 07:55 AM Dialogic drivers for use with VoiceGuide can be downloaded from our WWW Downloads page. See: http://www.voiceguide.com/vgDownload.htm The Dialogic demo apps are installed at the same time as the drivers. Share this post Link to post
thespecializt Report post Posted 08/05/2011 03:52 AM I tried to uninstall the dialogic software but a dos box flashes and it doesn't uninstall. I tried to install VoiceGuide v6.0.3391 over the top and when I start voiceguide I get a message saying error 2 (check if dialogic service is started) I checked the services and I can't start it error message is "Could not start the dialogic services on local computer error 1068 the dependency service or group failed to start" ctbusbroker is one of the dependencies and it can't be started. Can you please let me know what steps I should take next ? Do you have information on how I can perform a manual uninstall of voiceguide ? I tried removing some registry keys and the server bluescreened on reboot and I had to restore from a backup. Your help would be appreciated Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 08/05/2011 04:12 AM I tried removing some registry keys and the server bluescreened on reboot If you are running into these sort of issues with the system then probably the best approach is to reformat and reinstall Windows and then just install the Dialogic drivers and see if the Dialogic service then starts up properly and finds the card etc. Then you would be able to move onto testing the card with Dialogic demo apps.
