Guest Bill Report post Posted 10/26/2003 02:08 AM I am using a trial of voice guide 5.0 and cannot get the program to answer the phone at all. I am using a zoom v92 voice modem (3025c). I also have tried a v92 hayes modem with no luck. I have some other answering programs I am trying and many of them do not work also - although one does. I have tried the credit card and the voice mail systems with no luck. I have a dell computer windows xp. Could there be something wrong with my audio drivers (although one of the programs does work) the IVR types do not. 215415.73 0 ring 1 215421.73 0 ring 2 215427.75 0 ring 3 215433.77 0 ring 4 215439.78 0 ring 5 215445.81 0 ring 6 215451.83 0 ring 7 215457.84 0 ring 8 215503.88 0 ring 9 215509.89 0 ring 10 Please help Bill Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 10/26/2003 02:48 AM I see that the modem has been assigned by Windows a TAPI Identification Code of "0" (number right after the timestamp)... maybe this is the reason why the Ring's are ignored... We'll look into if this could be causing a problem, but in the meantime can you try re-installing the modem, or installing it again so that the Windows' TAPI Identification Code for this modem is 1 or greater, and then try calling again...
