I looked at the log file. Is there a way to avoid this mistake? We are using VoiceGuid 6.0.3386, card is D/4PCI-U (I copied this from configuration manager. Hopefully it's correct). SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/29/2011 12:32 AM Traces confirm that Dialogic card reported hearing a fax tone on the line. 142332.515 005 TDX_CALLP CR_FAXTONE (called line was answered by a fax machine or a modem (PerfectCall Call Analysis only)) Suggest you try increasing the 'cadence' count for the fax tone definition, to reduce the likelihood of this happening in the future. Tone definitions settings can be changed in VoiceGuide's Configline.xml file. You can also try effectively turning off the fax detection by changing the frequencies that the Dialogic card listens for to something that is unlikely to be detected (high frequency for long time and high cadence number) but that would result in actual fax answers not being detected. Determining of call answer type based on frequencies is not a 100% reliable method, and sometimes the frequencies that are present in answering persons voice will match different tone definiton.
