D/41jct-ls Can Use For Fax Document

Are intel analog D/41JCT-LS card can use for fax document via Voice Guide?

card feature : 4-port voice, softfax, analog interface, PCI, Caller ID, CTBus

 

I'm successful test the dial & conference call via Voice Guide. But, the intel

technical guy telll me this call not support conference call feature, why?

Isn't it able to do the 3 way or more conference call via VoiceGuide?

 

I'm tried to use the WinFax to fax the document, it is OK. But, when have

incoming fax, then got noise "bit..bit...bit" for entire lines. What to prevent this?

 

WinFax can use D/41JCT-LS to sent out document control by VoiceGuide?

No. VoiceGuide does not do any fax sending or receiving.

Intel Tech guy must have been thinking about conferencing where more then 2 parties are conferenced together on the Dialogic card...Dial and Conference connects two lines together - and it works on D/4`JCT-LS (as you have observed already)

Thats the noise calling fax machines make... not too sure what problem you are referring to here...

No. Winfax only works with modems.

Mean : If i has 3 line in calling via Voice Guide, at the same time, another caller call in via VoiceGuide to request to the Fax-on-demand for fax document A to him. Then, When the Voice Guide use the VBScript to call the WinFax to fax out the document, It has the fax out noise sound out. And, 3 the line in calling will hear the fax noise. Call use intel D/41JCT-LS card and fax from WinFax use modem.

But, the fax out noise effect the talk in the call.

So, how to solve this?

3 way confrencing is a telephone company facility - and VoiceGuide can send the right signals to the phone company to start a 3way call (if this facility is enabled on the lines). Any Dialogc card can be used.

 

Winfax uses a modem to send faxes - and the modem should have its own separate line.
