Wscript.exe

In my servers, after some hours working, there is a lot of process opened with wscript.exe. I close all and some hours ago they are there again.

When this executable is opened? How can I control to close it?

Do you have any VBScripts that are running in an infinite loop?

 

Can you post the scripts(s) that you are using?

 

Has this started happening recently only?

Can you please try changing VG.INI entry ShellHandler entry from:

 

ShellHandler=wscript

 

to:

 

ShellHandler=cscript

 

 

Can you please restart Windows and then start running VoiceGuide and see if you still get any instances of cscript.exe processes not exiting by themselves.

If you do notice these then .ZIP up and post the vgEngine traces from the restart time onwards.

Also please post the script used.

We can then be able to better see why these tasks are not exiting by themselves.

I don't have any script that are in loop.

I have a lot of scripts. I will send them by mail.

 

I have 4 servers with VoiceGuide. I restarted all servers and until now we don't have any problem. If I see any problem
