gbrompl Report post Posted 11/06/2003 02:05 AM Hi running vg 5.0a enterprise on win2k pro sp2, dialogic 4dpci, 4 lines. had a call last night which was cutoff during the recording process, I have attached the trace (line 7 of 5,6,7,8), have not included other lines in the trace. Seems to be hanging on "task still running", all other lines ok, only 1 msg was cut off from a total of approx 180 odd msgs received. Can you pls take a look & advise on cause. SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/06/2003 04:10 AM We can see in the trace that after about 10 seconds of recording the caller pressed the key "5" on their keypad. In the default voicemail scripts supplied this action corresponds to "Delete the recorded message and record again" 230849.19 7 RecFile[C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide\data\VmSave\0001_1105230849_1_7_0292501900_.wav] 230859.91 7 dtmf 5 (53,2) 230859.91 7 LsRecRecording 5 230900.94 7 RecSoundStopTruncBytes ok 230900.94 7 [VmLmMenu] Running VB Script... 230900.95 7 RVreplace start (strlen>100) 230900.97 7 Run Script waiting... (shellid=4104, process=4448) 230902.03 7 LsRunWaitTillFinished EV_TIMEOUT_CHECKONSTATE We'll look into this a bit further and see what could have caused the 'delete file' command to fail... it should not have got stuck at that point... and it looks like it popped up an error message box at this stage.. Many changes to VM scripts were made in v5.1 to improve them... Can you update your installation to v5.1.2? (The same registration code will work). Just uninstall v5.0 (backup the file which stores the voicemail boxes) then delete the VoiceGuide directory tree and install VG 5.1.2 (or after uninstalling v5.0 install v5.1.2 in another directory).
