briesmith Report post Posted 10/01/2011 04:07 PM I'm having one last go at configuring Dialogic 4pci vers 6 drivers and VG ver 7.2.2 (website says 7.2.3 but it's 7.2.2 that arrives) to work with a BT Analogue phone line on my Windows XP/SP3 m/c - asking a lot I know but the VG website says it works out of the box if you follow their instructions which I have faithfully done for each one of the 10 or so install-uninstall-reinstall cycles I have gone through - but preparing for the inevitable outcome I'm getting ready to have a go at VoIP. What I don't understand is how I can persuade the Voip provider Voicenet Solutions that the Dialogic HMP/VG software the router is connected to is a Cisco IPPhone 7960 configured the way Voicenet Solutions switch software wants it to be. Any concrete advice you can give will be very much appreciated. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 10/03/2011 07:47 AM how I can persuade the Voip provider Voicenet Solutions that the Dialogic HMP/VG software the router is connected to is a Cisco IPPhone 7960 configured the way Voicenet Solutions switch software wants it to be. Dialogic HMP can register itself with a SIP Server. This is basically what the Cisco IPPhone is doing. Instructions on setting up HMP to do SIP registrations are provided here: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/source/html/install_v7_dialogichmp.htm and http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/source/html/config_voip_register.htm Share this post Link to post
