roger.watson Report post Posted 10/09/2011 04:18 AM Hi, I have Cisco Call Manager v8 and the idea is to transfer calls from Cisco call manager to the IVR in Voiceguide. Then transfer back to cisco call manager when a certain key is pressed in the IVR. Or if voiceguide has its own virtual phone software then transfer to that phone when a certain key is pressed in the IVR. How can I integrate Voiceguide with Cisco Call manager 8. SupportTeam Report post Posted 10/10/2011 12:59 PM There are two approaches that can be taken. The simplest one is to have CCM route calls to the IP address of the machine that is running VoiceGuide, and VoiceGuide upon caller selection transfer calls to another IP address (which has any IP softphone or is IP address for SIP trunk etc) Another approach is for VoiceGuide to register itself as an extension on the CCM, and CCM sends calls to that extension. VoiceGuide can register itself with CCM like any SIP ip phone can register itself with CCM. Please see: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/source/html/config_voip_register.htm VoiceGuide will then receive calls that are sent to the CCM extension number that VoiceGuide registered itself as, and then VoiceGuide can transfer calls to another CCM extension. CCM takes care of routing call to another IP address. VoiceGuide would be transferring call to EXTENSION@CCM_IP_ADDRESS Are you able to register normal SIP phones/softphones with this CCM?
