Guest Patrick Hurrelmann Report post Posted 02/24/2003 09:20 AM Hi, I got the following problem in my IVR application: I have a module where VG asks the caller to enter any number ending with #. First it plays an german wav which says what to enter and then it starts getting the numbers. This works great. But after getting the numbers it does not play the selected german wav, but the internal standard english one. very strange is that it replays the german numbers (english are replaced by german sound files) and not the english ones. this makes no sense. i don't get na error message in the log. it just overrides the selcted wav. first it worked but after some additional scripting (without changing this part of the script) it doesn't play it at all. i added the log file below. 58578 9 tapie linedevstate 2048 0 0 58593 9 tapie callstate OFFERING 66373 0 4 58593 9 Answer the call 58593 9 lineAnswer(66373) => 66390 58609 9 Lev_CallerID [06233811057,] 58609 9 tapie callinfo CALLEDID 58609 9 tapie callinfo ORIGIN 58609 9 tapie ring 0 58640 9 tapie callstate CONNECTED 66373,1,0 58640 9 WorkingModeTAPI= 58656 9 WorkingModeScript= 58687 9 tapi Reply 66390 0 58687 9 tapie callinfo MONITORMODES 58687 9 TimeoutClear 58687 9 [getNum] Number Input 58687 9 [getNum] Playing (DEwillkommenundeingabe.wav) 58703 9 PlaySoundStart ok [C:\Programme\VoiceGuide\Scripts\AX4\DEwillkommenundeingabe.wav] 58703 9 TimeoutClear 58734 9 wa(9479,65868700) 58750 9 tapie callinfo MONITORMODES 58765 9 tapie callinfo MONITORMODES 60890 9 tapie monitordigits 49 2 60906 9 LsGetNbrsPlayWelcMsg [1] 60968 9 PlaySoundStop ok 60968 9 [getNum] Number Input 1 60968 9 TimeoutSet 6 EV_TIMEOUT_ENTERDATA 61484 9 tapie monitordigits 50 2 61484 9 LsGetNbrsRxDigits [2] 61484 9 LsGetNbrsRxDigits [12] 61484 9 [getNum] Number Input 12 61500 9 TimeoutSet 6 EV_TIMEOUT_ENTERDATA 62093 9 tapie monitordigits 51 2 62109 9 LsGetNbrsRxDigits [3] 62109 9 LsGetNbrsRxDigits [123] 62109 9 [getNum] Number Input 123 62109 9 TimeoutSet 6 EV_TIMEOUT_ENTERDATA 62718 9 tapie monitordigits 52 2 62718 9 LsGetNbrsRxDigits [4] 62718 9 LsGetNbrsRxDigits [1234] 62718 9 [getNum] Number Input 1234 62718 9 TimeoutSet 6 EV_TIMEOUT_ENTERDATA 63390 9 tapie monitordigits 53 2 63406 9 LsGetNbrsRxDigits [5] 63421 9 LsGetNbrsRxDigits [12345] 63421 9 [getNum] Number Input 12345 63421 9 TimeoutSet 6 EV_TIMEOUT_ENTERDATA 64000 9 tapie monitordigits 54 2 64015 9 LsGetNbrsRxDigits [6] 64031 9 LsGetNbrsRxDigits [123456] 64062 9 [getNum] Number Input 123456 64062 9 TimeoutSet 6 EV_TIMEOUT_ENTERDATA 64625 9 tapie monitordigits 35 2 64625 9 LsGetNbrsRxDigits [#] 64625 9 TimeoutClear 64625 9 fn PlaySoundStartNumbers C:\Programme\VoiceGuide\system\voice\GetNbrsConfirmIntro.wav, C:\Programme\VoiceGuide\system\voice\GetNbrsConfirmMenu.wav, 123456, Digits 64625 9 twcal PlaySayNumber C:\Programme\VoiceGuide\system\voice\GetNbrsConfirmIntro.wav, C:\Programme\VoiceGuide\system\voice\GetNbrsConfirmMenu.wav, 123456, , 1 64640 9 PlaySoundStartNumbers ok 64640 9 TimeoutClear Share this post Link to post
Guest Patrick Hurrelmann Report post Posted 02/24/2003 02:51 PM i overwrote the exsitant english waves with recorded german ones... only now it plays the german. but i got an additional problem. i'm using the mail module to send a mail if an odbc connection failed due to server error. it sends the mail to outlook2000. now outlook asks to accept the mail from a third party programm. i have to click yes or now EVERTIME the mail is sent. how can i configure outlook to let the mails from voiceguide pass through? i searched the net for hours now and didn't find any solution. thx for help Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/24/2003 11:15 PM I think that confirmation dialog can be turned off in Outlook... not too sure where though... Can you connect directly to your SMTP server and select in your Send Email module to send mail directly to it? Share this post Link to post
Guest Patrick Hurrelmann Report post Posted 02/25/2003 08:48 AM when i selct direct smtp... it still sends via outlook :/ but sending direct via smtp would be the best solution. sendmail is running on a other server in our test environment. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/25/2003 09:48 AM Could you please post here a trace capturing the sending of the email. When SMTP sending option is selected in the module it should use that method... Share this post Link to post
Guest Patrick Hurrelmann Report post Posted 02/25/2003 09:59 AM i just updated to 4.8.51 now it doesn't play the soundfiles anymore. it claims to play them, but nothing is hearable on the phone. after that it tries to play files from system\voicedlgc but this directory doesn't exist. do i need to do a fresh install? i just installed 4.8.45 over 4.8.7 (<- ?) and added hotfix 4.8.51 Share this post Link to post
Guest Patrick Hurrelmann Report post Posted 02/25/2003 10:20 AM ok... now i'm happy! just deinstalled and made a fresh install... now all my problems are blown away it plays the german file it should... it sends mails via smtp! god damn i love your software! but i'm still missing 2 features 1. running as nt-service 2. starting scripts within a script after that it would be THE killer-application Share this post Link to post
Guest Sarah Report post Posted 12/03/2003 03:52 AM I have just upgraded to version 4.9 and now when I ask for a number to be entered followed by a # key, it ignores the sound files that I have selected for it to play and plays the default files (which don't even have the same name). The text from my event log is as follows: [C:\VoiceGuide\Scripts\Randomisation\studio voice files\DoB.wav] 07781 5 tapie monitordigits 50 2 07781 5 LsGetNbrsPlayWelcMsg [2] 07843 5 PlaySoundStop ok 07859 5 [PPROMMDOB] Number Input 2 08000 5 tapie monitordigits 50 2 08000 5 LsGetNbrsRxDigits [2] 08015 5 [PPROMMDOB] Number Input 22 08265 5 tapie monitordigits 48 2 08281 5 LsGetNbrsRxDigits [0] 08281 5 [PPROMMDOB] Number Input 220 08828 5 tapie monitordigits 51 2 08843 5 LsGetNbrsRxDigits [3] 08859 5 [PPROMMDOB] Number Input 2203 09156 5 tapie monitordigits 54 2 09171 5 LsGetNbrsRxDigits [6] 09171 5 [PPROMMDOB] Number Input 22036 09421 5 tapie monitordigits 49 2 09421 5 LsGetNbrsRxDigits [1] 09437 5 [PPROMMDOB] Number Input 220361 09437 5 fn PlaySoundStartNumbers C:\VoiceGuide\system\voicedlgc\GetNbrsConfirmIntro.wav, C:\VoiceGuide\system\voicedlgc\GetNbrsConfirmMenu.wav, 220361, Digits 09453 5 twcal PlaySayNumber C:\VoiceGuide\system\voicedlgc\GetNbrsConfirmIntro.wav, C:\VoiceGuide\system\voicedlgc\GetNbrsConfirmMenu.wav, 220361, , 1 09484 5 PlaySoundStartNumbers ok 12093 5 tapie monitordigits 49 2 12093 5 LsGetNbrsPlayConfirm [1] 12156 5 PlaySoundStop ok Please can you give me an idea as to why this has happened and how I can fix it. I have many calls to the selected voice files, and I don't want to have to change them all. Share this post Link to post
