JohnAMV Report post Posted 11/29/2011 08:24 PM We have just moved to v7 of VoiceGuide and since the move, we are having problems with certain numbers being caught in an infinite loop. I think this is a redial problem, but I am new to supporting this program and am not sure where to check and change this issue. We are auto-loading the phone numbers into the program with the script to use. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/29/2011 08:46 PM Could you please post the vgEngine trace from the VoiceGuide system which captures this issue, we can then see what is happening on the system. vgEngine trace files are created in VG's \log\ subdirectory. When posting traces/scripts please .ZIP them up and post them as attachments. Share this post Link to post
JohnAMV Report post Posted 11/29/2011 09:55 PM The RetriesLeft field has negative values. I am working on getting the trace right now. Share this post Link to post
JohnAMV Report post Posted 11/29/2011 10:03 PM Here are the logs. I had to cut the log in half because of file size. Please let me know if you need more. 1129_1501_vgEngine.zip Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/07/2011 12:18 PM Looks like bug was caused by the version of VoiceGuide that customer was using not correctly handling a situation where a disconnected number was being dialed on T1 ISDN systems. The disconnected number would continue getting redialed (and instantly disconnected by the Telco). A version which fixes this issue was supplied to customer, and this fix will be included in VoiceGuide v7.3.0 onwards. Share this post Link to post
