Check The File Format

when i make my own scripts, they dont work. it says "there has been an error playing this file. please check the file format" anyone have any suggestions

From VG help file:

Windows Voice Modem Wave driver can only support sound files in the following format PCM 8000Hz, 16bit, Mono. When using Voice modems all sound files must be recorded in the above format.

 

Dialogic Wave driver prefers sound files in the following format PCM 11025Hz, 8bit, Mono. When using a Dialogic card, all sound files should be recorded in the above format.

thankyou for your help, i figured it out by readin the "quote" from another post.. but maybe you guys shold explain it a little better and help people realize that when they record something they can choose save sa and save in 16 format instead of 8, maybe explain this too them...or a screen shot
