Guest Arjan Report post Posted 11/19/2003 04:07 PM Hello, I'd like to connect a d/4pci dialogic card to our telephone/communication system. With the help of VoiceGuide I hope we can transfer and answer our calls more efficient. My question is can VoiceGuide in combination with a d/4pci dialogic card recognize MSN numbers or portnumbers from the communication system. It is important that a call to our number "X" which is programmed at the telephone system at port 01 is answered with script "A" and a call to number "Y" programed at port 02 is answered bij the same d/4pci dialogic card but with script "B". Thanks a lot, Arjan from the Netherlands, Europe Share this post Link to post

SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/20/2003 12:12 AM You can assign a different script to run on each of the ports of the Dialogic card. This can be done Using the Configuration Wizard or by editing the VG.INI file directly. Share this post Link to post
Arjan Report post Posted 11/20/2003 08:58 AM Hello, Is it also possible to assign different portnumbers or telephone numbers from the telephone system to the same dialogic portnumber and use different scripts. When this is not possible, we still have a problem when the specific dialogic port is busy or is there another solution to this problem? Thanks, Arjan Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/20/2003 02:19 PM Is it also possible to assign different portnumbers or telephone numbers from the telephone system to the same dialogic portnumber and use different scripts. Not on analog systems - you will need to use a digital system for that... You could get around this by using a PBX as a front end and then having the PBX pass on the calls it receives to any free Dialoigc port but use Inband Signaling to indicate for what number the call was originally... then VG can run the correct scritp regardless of what port the call arrived on...
