Caller Id Readout

When retrieving messages remotely from another phone, is their a way to have vg speak out the caller ID info, at least the phone number, and if so, how do you set it up. At this time I am only getting the time and date and I was under the impression that caller ID would also be spoken.

Please place attached file in VoiceGuide's \system\vm\ subdirectory. (please backup the previous vmLogin.vgs file first, in case you want to go back to original version)

 

This version speaks the CallerID (if available) after the timestamp.

 

Please post traces capturing the call if you encounter any problems.

VERY NICE!! Works perfect. That is very helpful. Sometimes people talk so fast that you can't make out their number or their phone breaks up just as they are saying their phone number. This feature will be very helpful when retrieving remotely. Thank You.
